In the evolving landscape of 2026’s polymer industry, durability and aesthetics are no longer optional—they are mandatory. 5830A is a next-generation High Hydroxyl Polyester Acrylate Resin designed to address the critical challenges faced by coating formulators: achieving a perfect balance between chemical resistance and visual appeal.
At the core of 5830A’s performance is its high hydroxyl functionality, which significantly enhances cross-linking density during UV curing. This unique molecular structure grants the cured film outstanding water boiling resistance, making it the premier choice for products exposed to humid environments, sterilization processes, or frequent contact with hot liquids. Unlike standard oligomers, 5830A prevents blistering and adhesion loss even after rigorous boiling tests.
Visually, 5830A excels in leveling and fullness. It flows effortlessly to eliminate orange peel effects, creating a smooth, mirror-like surface with a deep, wet-look gloss that elevates the perceived value of plastic substrates such as ABS, PC, and PMMA. Its compatibility with various monomers and photoinitiators allows for flexible formulation adjustments, whether for matte or high-gloss finishes.

5830A is a next-generation High Hydroxyl Polyester Acrylate Resin designed for UV curing applications. It features high hydroxyl functionality to optimize cross-linking density, enhancing both visual appeal and surface durability.
Thanks to its high hydroxyl content, 5830A increases cross-linking density during the UV curing stage. This prevents moisture penetration, blistering, and adhesion loss during boiling tests or exposure to humid environments.
It delivers excellent leveling, high fullness, and superb adhesion on key plastic substrates, including ABS, PC, and PMMA, making it ideal for high-end consumer plastics.
It features a functionality of 3, viscosity between 8000~25000 mPa.s at 25℃, a low chrominance of ≤60 Pt-Co, and an acid value of ≤5 mgKOH/g.
It should be stored in dark, opaque, corrosion-resistant steel drums below 35 ℃. Always leave at least 15% headspace filled with air, and keep the product completely shielded from direct sunlight.
